Bb. Pilipinas 2012 Parade of Beauties Photos 1 of 2

30 lovely candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2012 hits up the metro as they went around the Araneta Center for the much-awaited annual Parade of Beauties. Wearing brightly colored headdresses, sexy black swimsuits and radiant smiles, the ladies soared even higher the summer and the temperature in Metro.

The 30 gorgeous ladies waved to the enthusiastic throng aboard top down convertibles sponsored by Miata. Adding local color to the festive parade were dancers that simulated scenes from popular Filipino fiestas such as the Aklan’s Ati-Atihan, Cebu’s Sinulog, Bacolod’s Masskara, Baguio’s Panagbenga Dancers and Iloilo’s Dinagyang. The parade started at the Expo Centro parking lot, then headed over to Farmers Market and Farmers Plaza. Snaked through the Gateway Mall, Shopwise Araneta, SM Cubao, Ali Mall, and the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Confetti blasts and fireworks greeted the girls as they passed by Gateway Mall and Ali Mall. The parade ended in front of the Gateway Pavilion.

The  annual Parade of Beauties is one of the activities that Bb. Pilipinas candidates keeps busy before the much awaited coronation night on April 15, 2012. The girls’ road to the crown will be aired on April 8, in a special pre-pageant primer on ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best. Miss Universe 2011, Leila Lopes is coming to the Philippines?

Everyone should be ready as the most beautiful lady in the Universe is coming here in the Philippines to crown the next Binibining Pilipinas – Universe 2012 titlist that will represent the country in the upcoming Miss Universe 2012 pageant. Leila Lopes of Angola will take part in Binibining Pilipinas 2012 pageant on April 15, 2012 live at the Araneta Coliseum. It has been kept a top secret as the negotiations between MUO and BPCI to bring Leila to the Philippines is going on. Although either Miss Universe Organization (MUO) and Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) has yet to confirm this news.

Will I don’t think this is true. Maybe this is just one of the deceptions of pageant fans about this event. Leila Lopes was invited to a Carnival Parade in Brazil but it was not pushed through because her appearance fee is worth $50,000. And I think this amount is too much for the Binibining Pilipinas to pay for. 

Coming or not, the pageant is still going through. I know that many are really excited to watch Bb. Pilipinas 2012 pageant and see whose going to be the next Venus Raj or Shamcey Supsup that will represent the Philippines on the upcoming Miss Universe 2012.

Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2011: Shamcey Supsup

Shamcey Supsup is the titleholder of Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2011 and she was competed as the official representatives of the Philippines in the recently concluded Miss Universe 2011 pageant held in Sao Paolo, Brazil way back 6 months ago. At the end of the event, she was declared as the 3^rd runner up.

Binibining Pilipinas 2012 and Binibining Pilipinas 2011 coronation night held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City. She was also topped the Architecture Licensure Examination in July 2009 in the Philippines and graduated as magna cum laude from the University of the Philippines.

Shamcey Supsup face the 40 other candidates in the battle of beauty and brain in the Binibining  Pilipinas 2011 and at the end of the event she was successfully won the Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2011 title. Other winners at that time were Diane Necio who won the Binibining Pilipinas International and Binibining Pilipinas Tourism, Isabella Manjon.

Shamcey is looking forward to this next Binibining Pilipinas 2012 pageant which is now on it 49^th edition. Shamcey believe that the deserving beauty will win and will stand out on this pageant.
