30 lovely candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2012 hits up the metro as they went around the Araneta Center for the much-awaited annual Parade of Beauties. Wearing brightly colored headdresses, sexy black swimsuits and radiant smiles, the ladies soared even higher the summer and the temperature in Metro.
The 30 gorgeous ladies waved to the enthusiastic throng aboard top down convertibles sponsored by Miata. Adding local color to the festive parade were dancers that simulated scenes from popular Filipino fiestas such as the Aklan’s Ati-Atihan, Cebu’s Sinulog, Bacolod’s Masskara, Baguio’s Panagbenga Dancers and Iloilo’s Dinagyang.
The parade started at the Expo Centro parking lot, then headed over to Farmers Market and Farmers Plaza. Snaked through the Gateway Mall, Shopwise Araneta, SM Cubao, Ali Mall, and the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Confetti blasts and fireworks greeted the girls as they passed by Gateway Mall and Ali Mall. The parade ended in front of the Gateway Pavilion.
The annual Parade of Beauties is one of the activities that Bb. Pilipinas candidates keeps busy before the much awaited coronation night on April 15, 2012. The girls’ road to the crown will be aired on April 8, in a special pre-pageant primer on ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best.
